Cross Country

Cross country (3 km) was  organised. PTA President Mr.N.Ramachandran, Mr.KP Ramachandran (Sree Ram Furnitures,Nemmara ) were the chief guests. The programme also aimed to draw the attention of the common people on the 'Mullaperiyar Issue'.

A request to the Pachayath secretary

Suchthwasena members visited the Bus stand premises and suggested some solutions to keep this place keen. They submitted a request to the panchayath Secretary. He promised to respond positively at the earliest.

Happy home, Better school

Our MP Mr.P.K.Biju inaugurated "Happy Home, Better School Programme",( A programme of the teachers to visit the houses of all the pupils, within the next three months). Mrs.P.Geetha, Block Panchayath President presided over the function. DIET Principal Mr. C. Babu was the special guest.Mr.Biju started the survey by collecting details of Aiswarya VII A. Mr.and Mrs.Arumughan (Retd HM) handed over financial support to that poor family.

Greeting Cards

The IT Club members made Onam greeting cards for the students and teachers.Greeting cards with their own photos, designs and words were wonderful.Convener   Mr.T.P.Santhosh Master said it was a good learning activity because all the students participated in writing greetings !

Cycling practice

We have decided to give cycling practice to all the girls within a period of three months. Mrs.K.P.Vasantha (ward member) inaugurated the programme .Mrs.Premalatha Chellappan (convener,Help Dask) is the organiser.

തികച്ചും ജനാധിപത്യ രീതിയില്‍ രഹസ്യ ബാല്ലടിന്റെ സഹായത്താല്‍ സ്കൂള്‍ ലീഡര്‍ ഇലക്ഷന്‍  നടന്നു . അത്യന്തം അവെസകരമായ മത്സരത്തില്‍  7 A ലെ അമല്‍ ലീഡര്‍ ആയി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.7 C  ലെ ശരണ്യ സെക്കന്റ്‌ ലീഡര്‍ ആയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. രാവിലെ 11 നു തുടങ്ങിയ വോടിംഗ് അരമണിക്കൂര്‍ നീണ്ടുനിന്നു. ഒരു വോട്ടു പോലും അസധുവയില്ല എന്ന്നതാണ് വോടിങ്ങിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രത്യേകത. കുട്ടികള്‍ വലിയ അവെസത്തോടെ ആയിരുന്നു വോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. പുതിയ വോട്ടര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ഇതൊരു വേറിട്ട അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു. സ്കൂള്‍ ലീഡര്‍ ഇലക്ഷന്‍  നടന്നു . അത്യന്തം അവെസകരമായ മത്സരത്തില്‍ ലെ അമല്‍ ലീഡര്‍ ആയി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ലെ ശരണ്യ സെക്കന്റ്‌ ലീഡര്‍ ആയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. രാവിലെ നു തുടങ്ങിയ വോടിംഗ് അരമണിക്കൂര്‍ നീണ്ടുനിന്നു. ഒരു വോട്ടു പോലും അസധുവയില്ല എന്ന്നതാണ് വോടിങ്ങിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രത്യേകത. കുട്ടികള്‍ വലിയ അവെസത്തോടെ ആയിരുന്നു വോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. പുതിയ വോട്ടര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ഇതൊരു വേറിട്ട അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു.

The Harithasena unit of our school conducted a seminar to celebrate the "International Year of the Bats".     Mr.Surjeeth M.K (Forest range Officer,Nelliampathy ) inaugurated the function.Mr. C.Narayanankutty (Environmentalist, Nemmara) handled a class on bats.
